Some children grow up with worries that are much bigger than they are. Fleeing from war and leaving everything behind, growing up in poverty, or having to care for a parent. We believe that especially in those moments, a small light can make a big difference.
Within Make a Kid Happy, we have created the Children’s Wishes Project. We fulfill wishes of children who are facing financial or social hardship. Not luxury, but something that truly matters to that child. A gift, a day out, or an experience they will never forget.
We work together with municipalities, counselors, other organizations, and volunteers to turn wishes into reality. Every fulfilled wish gives a child not just a smile for one day, but also the feeling: I am seen, I matter. Because every child deserves to feel special.
